On behalf of our client, we are currently looking for a Construction Manager for bus depots for a government client in Stockholm. The assignment is part-time and is expected to start on 2026-03-03 and last until 2027-12-37, with the possibility of extension for 5 years. 

About the assignment As a construction manager in the field, you will play a key role in the implementation of larger investment projects related to bus depots within public transport-related infrastructure. The assignment is initially linked to a project concerning the construction of a modern bus depot, with the opportunity to also contribute to other similar projects within the same project portfolio.

The project involves establishing a future-proof bus depot with capacity for approximately 80 buses, workshop functions, washing facilities, refueling options, and charging infrastructure for electric buses. The facility is also designed for future capacity increases. The assignment is conducted in an environment where production needs to be coordinated with ongoing operations, which places high demands on planning, collaboration, and structure.

In this role, you will work closely with project management and serve as a link between design, contractors, and operations. You will contribute with specialist expertise in land and water management and ensure that implementation occurs according to established requirements for time, cost, quality, safety, and work environment. The assignment involves significant presence on the construction site and a clear mandate in daily execution.

Examples of tasks • Review design documents and provide feedback from a production and implementation perspective • Represent the client organization in contacts with contractors, suppliers, authorities, and other external actors • Act as expert support in earthworks, relocation of water and sewage lines, and trenching • Monitor the construction contractor's progress regarding time, cost, and quality and report continuously to the project manager • Manage and document changes and additional work and contribute to forecasting work • Support the contractor in developing work preparations, schedules, and weekly planning and ensure coordination with adjacent operations • Ensure that work is carried out according to applicable requirements for safety, environment, work environment, and technical guidelines • Participate in inspections and contribute to handover to management and operations

Other: Start: 2026-03-03 End: 2027-12-37 Scope: 30 hours/week Location: Stockholm, with some possibility for remote work Employment form: Employed by Devotum as the client does not approve subcontractors in this process.

About you We are looking for someone who meets the following mandatory requirements:

• Documented experience in production management (e.g., site manager, supervisor, construction manager) within a client organization or contractor organization in the infrastructure and construction industry, at least 10 years of work experience

• Experience from at least 1 project in a leading position having conducted project planning for projects with a budget over 200 million SEK.

• Completed training in and documented experience of regulations according to AMA & MER construction.

• Experience with complex concrete castings in the role of supervisor or skilled worker in concrete for at least 5 years (e.g., block wall, retaining wall with tightness against rock excavation).

• Management of earthworks with blasting in large quantities, ground reinforcement with MCK piles, and installation of sheet piles where the total time amounts to at least 8 years of experience.

It is advantageous if you also meet the following requirements:

• Good knowledge of contract law ABT06. This experience is achieved by actively working with contract issues and regulations according to ABT06 for at least 12 months, but also having basic training in ABT06.

• Completed training in BAS-U/BAS-P.

• At least 4 years of experience in assignments within public operations as a Construction Manager.

• Experience participating in land planning of public transport projects in at least 1 project.
